Day 24 Smolensk to Belarus 554km

It has been a few long days. Everything is going fine. We had fun on the tracks yesterday. Our car isn’t quick off the start, but she can move. The sound of squealing tires and the smell of burning rubber. What fun.

We met a tour guide that took us shopping and to dinner in Smolensk. It was a soviet themed restaurant. We had traditional Soviet food and drink. Our hotel wasn’t very good. The view was of the abandoned warehouse covered in seagulls. I didn’t know that seagulls made noise all night.

We are headed to the Belarus border and off to Minsk for tonight. It is going to be a long day. We have one time control and four timed speed tests scheduled.

Have a great day.

Goodbye Russia, Hello Belarus.

Kindness, Forgiveness, and Courage,

Stephen and Bryon
